We coach all players of all abilities. We train at Harrogate High playing fields every Saturday 9:00am - 11:00am and have a strong belief here at Killinghall Nomads of, "Football for all", so if you have never kicked a ball or are a budding Wayne Rooney, everyone is welcome. Why not come on down and join in, we have a great set of players who will make you very welcome. we had a great day at Keighley Shamrocks Gala, We took two teams one coached by Martin and the other by Ady. They were put into 2 separate leagues of 6 teams who were mainly Bradford teams. Both our teams won their respective leagues. Martin's team played 5 and won 5. Whilst Ady's played 5, won 4 and drew 1.
The teams were both strong, but Martin's lacked strikers and was composed entirely of midfielders and defenders. They were the more technical side and played some wonderful football, at times, delighting the onlookers. Ady's team was more about pace, power and passion. They too played some nice stuff in quite a different style. In the end Ady's team got to the final which they won handsomely. Martin's team were knocked out in the semi-final only after conceding a golden goal in extra time in a tight match.
Both teams were a credit to the club. The football played was great to watch. We had many admiring comments from opposition coaches and parents. This was a great way to end the season and should prove to be the beginning of a successful period for this squad.
